Lukas - Czech republic

Hello! My name is Lukas. I'm 33 years old. I spent my childhood on countryside in Czech Republic. I grew up in small town called Litomyšl. In that time it wasn't modern historical UNESCO town like it is today. Then I studied in Brno. It is second largest city in Czech Republic, biggest in Moravia. After my studies I moved to Australia where I continued my studies in tourism. I spent 12 years in Australia working in the hospitality and tourism industry. Experience from different continents taught me to look back to my country from a different point of view. Since my return back to Czech Republic, I'm working as tour guide, organising tours for overseas visitors and helping in management with family's Bed and Breakfast. In my tours I'm offering the balance between the well known tourist attractions and places hidden for locals only. On every tour I'm finding the balance for you between history and modern. And I never forget to stop for a taste of great local food and drink!

What do I like about my buisness as a tourguide? Most everything. I keep researching about local history and affairs to deepen my knowledge, that´s the one thing and I like to present it in an ejoyable way, that´s the other thing. I am pleased when my guests feel fine and enriched. She does walking tours mainly but not exclusivly in the historical center of town, passing by the imperial castle just as well as less known lanes and courtyards. You can have a tour on special subjects such as jewish Vienna, architecture... She can also accompany you to the castle of Schoenbrunn or various museums.
